"Starting, extending, and ending a conversation on a phone" is one of basic competence (KD) from English materials for 8th grade in the second semester.
After learning the lesson in this section, the students are expected to be able to listen and response the expressions for starting, extending, and ending a conversation on a phone.
After explaining the materials, I asked the students to make a video as their speaking assignment. They responded it enthusiastically. We decided that the assignment would be fulfilled in two weeks. They worked in groups. Each group consists of two students. Some of them got informal situation or formal situation. After grouping, they created dialogue based on their own words. I checked the grammar and the expressions.
